This a locally owned establishment serving breakfast all day long. The restaurant was very clean inside. Upon entering the person behind the counter asked if we were dine in or take out. After saying dine in she said help yourself to a drink and have a seat. We stopped mid afternoon to avoid a crowd. I have been wanting to try this place for a while. Decided on lunch items since it was afternoon even though the breakfast looked excellent. I ordered the 1/4 pound Chicago dog with a side of fries. My wife ordered the Chicken salad. The food did not disappoint. The Chicago dog was served on a perfectly toasted bun with all the  accompaniments that you would expect. The side of fries was supposed to be a small fry.....not sure I would want to see a large. The Salad was also large. You won't go hungry.  They also have a 5 pound food challenge. If you can finish it in 15 minutes the $30 meal is free, you get a t-shirt and your name on the wall of fame. Will definitely be back to try some of the other offerings and possibly to play old school pac-man.

"KISS MY GRITS" This is a replica style diner from the TV show Mel's Diner. They offer typical diner fare that is really good. Large selection of southern style diner food. Dine in or Take Out. There was always a wait to get in but the line went fast. While we were there "Rocky Top" came on their music selection and everyone in the diner broke out in chorus. They also offer retro style T-shirts to purchase. Highly recommend trying it out for the experience.

This is a local chain Mexican Restaurant. Food was good and so was the atmosphere. The offer a "put your name in" online to avoid waiting.  Large selection and their guacamole was made to order. Very affordable for a sit down restaurant. Recommended.

Corky's is a chain BBQ restaurant.  I will rate the food as average. Sauce is OK. They offer Memphis style BBQ which is a dry rub. Sauce is on the table to add or you can order it "wet". I do recommend getting a backed potato with your meal. If you ever saw the Idaho commercial with the missing potato on the back of a truck.....this is where you will find it . The potatoes are HUGE. Average food if you are in the mood for BBQ.

Excellent  food!. The range of offering goes from burgers and tacos to high end seafood dishes. My absolute favorite and highly recommended dish is their Cioppino. Cioppino is a seafood stew in tomato sauce. This dish is loaded with seafood including lobster, squid, scallops, and mussels. The sauce is excellent and you get bread to sop it up with. Be careful ordering an appetizer with this dish as it is extremely filling and you will want every last drop. Other items I enjoyed were the seafood tacos, lobster rolls. Highly recommended !!!

Not only is this a great place to eat. It is the only restaurant in the small town. Breakfast was excellent and the staff was awesome. If you are lucky, sometimes they even serve dinner. The sign out front said  "dinner served today."  We stopped for dinner and it is similar to a diner they offered fare such as turkey and meatloaf dinners. Dinner prices were around $13. My wife and I both decided on meatloaf. To our surprise the waitress said you can't both order the same thing. She proceeds to tell us that their meals are so large we each need to pick something different and share to try more items. So we decided on the turkey and meatloaf. The plates were huge!!! Both were excellent and we got to try both. Staff is a mixture of family and friends that appear to have a great time serving their customers. Highly recommend the portions are huge and the prices are great!

The Lobster House is a Seafood restaurant that offers indoor dining as well as take out and dockside dining. The food is very good and the restaurant usually lines uo early. They offer take out as well as dockside dining. I really enjoy the dockside dining. You place your order at the take out window and find your own spot on the dock next to  the fishing boats that bring in the daily catch. The views are spectacular on the dock with boats passing by as you enjoy your dinner. They also have a floating bar called the Schooner American where you can enjoy pre-dinner adult beverages. Whether you enjoy the indoor dining or the outdoor experience I am sure you will not be disappointed . This is a must stop when I am in the area. Highly Recommend.

Italian restaurant at the shore.  Old school Italian decor inside  with entertainment. Usually they have someone singing at the front of the restaurant not to loud to disturb your meal. It adds a nice ambiance. The food is excellent and the service is good. This restaurant has moved locations a few times over the past 40 years. I was glad to find it again. Highly recommended.

This is a Greek/Italian restaurant. I wasn't really sure based on the menu so I asked one of the managers.  He told me they are Greek. The managers basically run the place and are related to each other.  The staff is exceptional!! You can tell that they enjoy their job. The food portions are huge. I recommend the gyro platter. The Italian entrees are good as well.  The service was top notch. Highly recommend!
